Jetting for this set up?

John Carlile /

About to order some jets from treats. Any ideas what sizes I should order for this setup?

Tomos A35:

Black hunter exhaust pipe

Dellorto Sha 16.16 carb

15mm air intake

A55 crank

Premixing Saber 80:1

NGKB8HS spark plug

Stock top end (new piston rings)

With this setup what would my jetting range be?

Thankyou

John

Check the spreadsheet.

Lose the 80 to one saber. run 50 to one

80 to one is for weedwackers

Read discription ^

Severe service is 50 to 1 Ratio A Modded air cooled moped is severe service/duty

Saber is meant for a 100:1 one though. So 50:1 would be too rich.

Nope

amsoil synthetic 100:1 pre-mix 2-cycle oil is recommended for all water-cooled and air-cooled pre-mix applications. a mix ration of 100:1 is recommended for normal duty service in applications such as motorcycles, mopeds, outboard motors, snowmobiles, weed eaters, lawn mowers and chain saws. for "severe service" applications, richer mix ratios of 50:1 to 80:1 are recommended. these include racing motors and hot operating workhorse motors that continuously run for extended periods of time.

Read description^ it's 100 to one for weed whackers

50 to one for severe service

Kitted/modded or race air cooled moped engines are severe service/severe duty (edited)

Re: Jetting for this set up?
