I am looking for a piston kit for a Monza GT. I found a Garelli 70cc Polini Reed Cylinder Kit. Will that fit on a 85 Garelli Monza GT. If not then is there one out there that will work with this bike?

Not too long ago I found a listing on Ebay for an 80cc Polini kit but couldn't confirm it would actually fit since it was around $500+
There's a few old posts on here about using a VIP kit on the Monza but you'd have to machine a riser since the rod is longer (heh,heh).

I have an 87 Garelli Monza GT. I know it has the same stroke as the VIP. Will the VIP kit fit onto a Monza GT? I can waterjet a spacer if needed.

Yes with a 5mm thick spacer

I just made this yesterday with my scroll saw out of 5mm thick aluminum plate for a monza gt engine with a team cylinder. Gaskets top and bottom and it looks perfect at tdc
