YEAH YEAH YEAH!
RIP IT BROSKI!
I found some sweet trails by some power lines i cant wait to SWOOP.
I got the clutch cover off this weekend and sure enough, the entire guts of the clutch side shaft seal was a shreddy melted mess at the bottom of the clutch cover.
Methinks this thing just stopped running at some point and nobody could figure out what it was, thereby saving it from further abuse and damage. 90% of the shit wrong with it is just from bad mechanick'n... actually 99, the only thing wrong with it for realz is the seal.
Gotta figure out what size it is, or maybe just order it from Partzilla with the rubbers for the tank and some of the other assorted missing bullshit.
That battery picture would be dope, but it doesn't really matter because I don't have any of the parts to make it work in the stock location. I'm gonna have to build another box anyhow.
The reeds are kinda small where they actually go through the block, i'm sure porting them by hand and swapping out for Boyesen's would be a good bump.
Plus the carb is like 17-18 mm, you can get the manifold adapter from TREATS and bolt a VM22 Right on there, which is what i think i'm gonna do. The porting could easily flow either a 22 or a 24. You could get one of those carb boots from Sudco and adapt it to the VM22 manifold but why bother.
Either way that VM will need some kinda nylon or phenolic spacer.
I'm focusing on mopeds for a lil' bit here, got a couple to get built ASAP, then I'll flip back to the DT when i save up some change for the seals, gaskets, and assorted bullshit.
