Should I expect more? or just be satisfied. Noob ALERT

.♠.MSG .♠. /

So I just finished repairing all the bullshit airleaks and seals on my 04 Targa.

Runs great, did some minor tuning but Im not sure if I should expect more from it or is it performing to its specs.

Im a total noob when it comes to performance tuning.

Going to Ghost Rally this weekend and just wanted to have it running at its best.

I have:

A35

70cc Airsal

Stock CDI

27T front

22T Rear

21mm intake

21mm carb

Malossi air filter

Weak Ends pipe

I gps'd it and Im at about 50mph.

Seems to be tuned pretty good so far.

Carb is:

37 idle

82 Main

60 Starter

W7 needle.

Doesnt bog nor does it seem to 4stoke at WOT.

SUGGESTIONS?

Should I look into porting?

Should I adjust the rotate the CDI?

Not sure which direction is "advancing" it and I am having an issue with the lights burning out but I ordered a new high current regulator so hopefully that will fix that conflict. (edited)

deff full advance (against rotation of flywheel) the cdi, thatll put back the rev limit a bit.

port piston window wider 2mm, remove intake bridge, add piston cooling holes around exhaust.

50 is good if your running cool

What does your head temp gauge say?

Trail tech

It's not great but that's what I base my temps on

I have almost the same set up with points instead of a cdi and a techno, my bike is tuned well and im getting about the same speed. I clocked at 54 during Blood Drive but wasnt pushing the kit too extremely hard.

Re: Should I expect more? or just be satisfied. Noob ALERT

50 is very good with the stock cdi the above fellow is getting 54 since he has points=no rev limiter, more over I bet your getting to 50 in a hurry, advance the cdi gain 2-3 more mph but watch your temps
