1978 Batavus Regency Clutch

Can I rebuild my clutch for better performance? Do I have to I need to rebuild the transmission also?

Re: 1978 Batavus Regency Clutch

there is a good article in the wiki about lightening the clutch to delay engagement.

graham while we are here and its bat clutch performance thread. let me run some ideas by you.

if we take the idea they have already and just improve on its performance, say we do away with the dreaded clutch liner AKA friction disk.

replace it with alternating layers of on and off of the hub plates, mimicing a larger bikes clutch.

pads or maybe brass off, steel on, plates working with all the other system parts intact.

B: Scrap it. Get Variated or a Pusher?????
