Doppler ER3 without clutch for Peugeot question

it's just held in place with the force of the nut the bidalot is like that too. I have run both of them, with no problems, on some high power set ups.

humf. okay... I think I may do a little welding then. I just wasn't sure if I got the wrong shaft or something.

I suppose with the direction of rotation that it would keep torque on the nut, but still that seems like slightly lazy engineering.

Yea I remember seeing that when I first got a doppler and said how's that gonna work. But that's always spinning with a clutch pulley so it probably doesn't see that much of a load.
