Ordered a turn signal relay last night and a battery strap. I also pulled the carb and cleaned, replacing my 112.5 jet with the stock 108.
The bike runs so much better. No bog on the top end at all!! Low end is much better also. I got to 46 today on a very short ride around the block. It runs so much better. My girlfriend rode it after the jet swap and definitely noticed a difference as well. She loves the powerband in 2nd gear!! Her interest in the bike seemed to double after she rode it with the new jet settings.
Im going to try and go for a ride on the trace tomorrow.....Glen?
I think the bike is just buzzy. I wonder if you could machine the bolts for the frame that go through the engine down on a lathe, then replace with a thick/strong piece of rubber. I tried to wrap a thin layer of real 3m rubber tape around the bolt that goes through the airbox but it kept getting stuck while I was reinstalling.
Im going to do the handle bars soon. So, Ill let you know what I use and how it turns out.
Thanks!
