Yeah, lets turn this into a v1 gripe thread. i just spent the past few hours doing the attached pic. wow! after my threads stripped, i heated the crank up REAL fucking hot, i welded nuts to cut off allen bolts (search for the thread), pulled with those, which just peeled the first base plate off. then I tapped the stripped hole to m8 and those stripped! All the while applying an unreal amount of force. Gee whiz, someone please poison me!
