They are heavy. I will be breaking them down here in a few days for heavier fork springs, new seals, wheel bearings and powdercoat; so I will weigh them while they're off the bike. Rm80 forks have smaller tubes & lowers and are considerably lighter.
The stock kx80 fork springs dive pretty hard on hard braking and hit the head bolts on the lifan 125 so I did some research and found stock springs are .25kg/mm you can get kx80 specific springs up to about .31kg/mm but they are $100+ and will get cut anyway. So I ordered a pair of these 1970's fork springs they look beefy, have the same OD as the stock kx80 springs, and were $25 shipped. hopefully they are much more stiff.

With the bigger forks and motor the bike is at least 1.5x heavier than a stock tomos
