It's interesting but....I'm a little worried about being too lean at the top end. I'm having that problem already with the 80 jet and (from what I understand) the needle only effects the bottom 1/2 - 3/4 of the rev range. I'm not saying it won't work as 2-strokes are "strange animals" sometimes.
I did take your advise about matching the header with the exhaust port and it seems to have made a difference in (especially) throttle response.
I'll order a 78 jet next week and see how it goes.
