Do it. I'll buy one.

Re: Crazy wayne ported my kit and check it out "V

I would help you test it over the winter out here in sunny california. I dont have to worry about much poor riding weather. I'm not afraid of riding in the chilly weather.

It doesn’t seem that bad to do. I may do it to the 50cc kstar I have and toss it

Out for someone to try……before I destroy a new 70 kit. Probably leave a little more meat between the transfers and finger ports. Ill pull the kit out tonight and see if it is even possible on the 50cc one. 50cc cylinders are harder to cut sometimes because they are smaller and harder to move around inside.

Re: Crazy wayne ported my kit and check it out "V

I've got a lightly used 70cc kit not being used at the moment... I can send it your way! 👀

Re: Crazy wayne ported my kit and check it out "V

🤔. I mean it’s for science hahaha 🤘🏻. I would be down to try. Let me see how this 50cc one goes and I would give it a wack. I have some ideas how to make this happen close to the porting. He has done. I just want to know if it works or it is a complete turd.

Now how to get out of work and go home and mess with cylinders? (edited)

I was reading this all above, has any of you ever hit the dyno with these '13 port' cylinders? Cause I think it's not going to be that spectacular... Here's some pics of my k star:

last week it ran 13.7hp on the dyno at 11500rpm. stops at 14500rpm.

Now that's a ported cylinder

Re: Crazy wayne ported my kit and check it out "V

Wow that's rad, I'm working on a cylinder reed adapted tccd50 right now, definitely going to look at this for inspiration!

I have some better examples for that I think. just sent me a pb for that, I'm not gonna share that cylinder online

Re: Crazy wayne ported my kit and check it out "V

How’s that case induction look? What reeds and carb are you running? That looks awesome!

Also would the same concept work with cylinder induction still and still keep the third transfer like the “gilarini” or do you think it would make less power that way?

Case induction is welded om at the moment, but I'm not completely happy with that. Next crankcase is going to be a bolt om version. I'm tunning a vforce3 reed, and a mikuni tm24 carburator. The cylinder induction could work, but you will need a reedvalve.

Wow! I can't believe this thread is this old.

I'm the original owner of the moped.

It's been like 10+ years since I've been on here and since I sold that moped.

Here's what I remember about that kit. And I still have crazy Wayne's email and number. He is still out there doing his thing.

-The piston had ring land porting holes which helped for cooling, I could run this lean without too much heat build up

- The cylinder porting was the intake and exhaust ported a little up and down and chamfered Clean and smooth

- He said there's a little was a little grinding done on one side of the of the exhaust port. The theory was that that would be the first part to suck air creating some sort of spinning or while wind and helped force urnt fuel out of the exhaust port

- He was the first person I ever saw who made a side bleed exhaust

- The youtube video I made was the first time I ran it. After I broke in the engine , tuned the carb, and got a bigger scarf the fastest I ever got this up to GPS was around 57mph. Which I thought was pretty damn good for the times.

Looking back I wish I would have made a better video after I got it all fixed up. But I basically never got on the forums anymore cause there was a lot of negativity around here and I learned how to tune mopeds good enough to never come back.

I sold that thing for $1,200 in about 2013

I hope the new owner enjoys my old project. That was a fun Era for me
