Wow! I can't believe this thread is this old.
I'm the original owner of the moped.
It's been like 10+ years since I've been on here and since I sold that moped.
Here's what I remember about that kit. And I still have crazy Wayne's email and number. He is still out there doing his thing.
-The piston had ring land porting holes which helped for cooling, I could run this lean without too much heat build up
- The cylinder porting was the intake and exhaust ported a little up and down and chamfered Clean and smooth
- He said there's a little was a little grinding done on one side of the of the exhaust port. The theory was that that would be the first part to suck air creating some sort of spinning or while wind and helped force urnt fuel out of the exhaust port
- He was the first person I ever saw who made a side bleed exhaust
- The youtube video I made was the first time I ran it. After I broke in the engine , tuned the carb, and got a bigger scarf the fastest I ever got this up to GPS was around 57mph. Which I thought was pretty damn good for the times.
Looking back I wish I would have made a better video after I got it all fixed up. But I basically never got on the forums anymore cause there was a lot of negativity around here and I learned how to tune mopeds good enough to never come back.
I sold that thing for $1,200 in about 2013
I hope the new owner enjoys my old project. That was a fun Era for me
