The malossi/polini intake is not designed for a carb that big. I think that you would need to mount a different reed block on the carb. Of course you would have to port a bunch to take advantage of the bigger carb also. With the work it would be advantageous, but I am not sure how much you would gain over the 24mm for the amount of work it would be.
