Re: Minarelli V1 CDI, exhaust, and carb suggestion
I've run the first $89 CDI for a long time, and they work great. I have the AA one you posted, but never run it, no time to get it working.
Pipe wise I run a N8P which I love, but I really wanna try a destroyer. I also love the Puch LeoVinci on V1s, great low/mid range!
Carb wise the 19-21 PHBG with the Polini 19mm intake can't be beat. I have run a TM24 as Piston Port, and now as reedvalve on a Polini75. Takes a lot of porting. You have to ovalize the intake to get the opening you need. Also adding material around the intake for support/sealing safety (I used jb weld.
A lot of choices for what you can do. All you need is a little creativity and a dremmel.
