If it didn't leak before and now it does, take it apart again and make sure the needle and the hole it sits in are both clean, and that the float moves up and down freely. If the needle sat in carb cleaner or got a lot of carb cleaner on it, then you might need to replace it -- carb cleaner can degrade the little rubber seal on the float needle, which will make the carb leak.

If it has always leaked, or you don't know if it leaked before, then you should probably just get a new float needle.
