Just asking a favor, I know a few have them. I keep reading how it blows the doppler away.
I'd really like to see the insides, how the clutch arms differ. I'd like to see the difference in quality of the clutch bells.

for the difference in cost i'd say doppler isnt even a competitor.
there's a pic posted in the av10 thread right now. it has different springs that ours has though. his are blue while we have red ones. no clue why. the clutch bell looks like an aftermarket gy6 part. lightened and balanced. the shoes are set up like a derbi clutch. except much larger. each shoe has an allen screw that tightenes the spring tension as you tighten them down. the red plate under the bell is to reinforce the posts and keep the shoes from flaring out.

yeah, its so crazy, i was literally sketching this exact setup in class last week...
great minds think alike or something like that. i dont know what people are paying for these, but as they were saying in the 'av10' thread, its probably worth a good penny just because its balanced so well. its always a good idea to use somebody else's expensive engineering and mass production, i.e. sourching the scooter clutch parts.
i dont know exactly what gy6 stuff looks like, but it says TGB on the stamped clutch bell, and i know thats a pretty popular tiawaneese minarelli-clone.
its an awesome idea because you've got super cheap readily available shoes, springs, everything. I would assume they are using either the stock TGB shoes, or a preexisting TGB aftermarket part.

no...its not much more in relativity....thats a pic of mine on my av10, worth every penny too. i lucked out, so if you can get your hands on one too then swoop it up.
that clutch bell is the same that is used on the Vespa lx150 and the vespa gt200..tgb makes the whole variator assembly on the newer vespa's and they are pretty bomb proof...The quality on the mykitech is insane, i played with one of the ones that fred got and it is beautiful
