Last year, I found it _really_ frustrating trying to find good high quality, high resolution photos of the A55 cylinder and head... so... since no one else has bothered to upload any good photos, as usual, I'll have to do it myself...
here are some reference photos for anyone interested in doing some research on the Tomos A55 engine. Please feel free to use these photos for your posts if you need to (ebay, moped army etc...)

Yes, that. You probably don't need to upload ALL of them (and I hate to say this since you took high quality ones, but you probably shouldn't upload super huge ones), but the ones with the measurements of the ports and stud spacing and stuff would be really nice to have in the wiki. We could just start a Tomos cylinders page (like the ones for the Puch cylinders), then upload photos like that that for all the Tomos cylinders. Port maps would also be spiffy.
Tell me more about these calipers.

Not like I'm an expert on porting, but generally you map the ports so that you know their size and location within the cylinder. Once you know what you have, you can figure out what they need to be in order to get the performance you want, and then you can alter the ports to the calculations you made. Graham also had a really good blog post about it here that will go into heaps more detail.
