haha I read near the top that it happens mostly in sand. I know someone must have said this already. But I feel it necessary to reiterate my frustration.
YOU'RE BRAKING IN SAND. DON'T BE A DUMBASS. IF YOU'RE GOING TO DRIVE IN ADVERSE CONDITIONS THEN SLOW THE **** DOWN.
My first time riding a scooter/moped, I was on a 1980 Suzuki FZ50, which I slid out of control on in a patch of sand. Luckily I didn't crash, but I learned to never fucking drive through sand like that again. I recommend you understand that as well. You don't need ABS. You just need to remember that it has two wheels.
