I try to avoid using carbide cutters on iron and steel if I can, the metal bits they throw off are the worst ever and stick in your everything. You end up digging super tiny pieces of metal out of your hand for weeks. Then they rust and make little dirt spots you can't wipe off. Sanding drums and grinding bits. They make smoother surfaces anyways. But sometimes you have to use tiny bits to get to where you need, so it's nice to have all of them.
