Well, the piston is for a Minarelli. The Carabela piston is nearly identical to a Minarelli, the only difference being that the crown of the Carabela piston has additional doming in the center of the piston to increase compression. I would be likely going from Carabela's 9:1 to the Minarelli 8:1 by doing this. I'm not looking to have a real blaster, just a slightly fast and mostly reliable bike. Maybe run in the upper 30s lower 40s.
