Thanks for getting back to me guys, tonight i have taken the motor out and pulled it apart to have a look.

It has just had the jug slung on without even trying to match the cases to it so i have done this, i also noticed the inlet manifold had a crack across one of the corners, when i took it off i found the reed stop screws hard against the casting in the cylinder throat, i have addressed this and now the reed block fits nice in its place, its a shame that a part that cost good money can't be made correct from the factory.

i just hope it all comes together ok and runs fast.
