hey, was wondering if you guys can help me out there.

i've posted before and heard you can use the positive from your light coil to charge your battery by connecting it and using a rectifier.

what i'm wondering is... what's stopping the coil from overcharging your battery?

will it never get to that point because it's not charging up more than it's using?

i have a bright headlight and tailights that need to be powered by a battery and wont work with a light coil by itself; i need a battery.

please help me out and let me know what you did to solve the overcharging problem! thanks!

greg
