I was imagining something like a coil over suspension component for the motor damper. Turn a threaded body that slips over a damper and allows 2 interlocking collars that you can move to change the spring tension. I also started on a opening cheek rear pulley for a French bike as well, might as well and attack the issue for multiple angles. But I wanted to try and move in both directions since A: I just feel like there is more to be had out of the swinging motor setup then I've managed to get and want to push that all the way. I'm trying to figure out the correct belt to allow for full movement on a variotop and also modify and er3 enough to allow full movement from bottom to the top of the ramp plates. Think I've found the right parts just need to get them on order and do some more machining to the variators I have. B: I think front and rear moving cheeks allow for more gear range in the long run and hence most manufacturers moved that direction oddly enough it makes for a simpler setup but looses that original quality of the crazy contraption French bike.
