so the bike will on run on the stand, kinda, if i give it full throttle it will bog out and die, really any throttle, but it will idle beautifully.... started w/ a 64 bing jet(12/12 bing carb) then went to a 62, then to a 58, still the same thing, needle is in the middle for now... no air leaks any where, i dont get it.... will the bing just not work or is my jetting just to big for a stock express?

Re: honda express carb swap

jets too big

Re: honda express carb swap

So, why are you trying to use a non-stock carb?

Don't want to spend the money? Did you just have that on hand?

There are stock carbs for the Honda Express nc50 moped on ebay all the time. Heck you can probably get one massively cheap on this forum.

Good luck in any case. Thanks for posting video.

FYI: here is a list of Bing carb #s if anyone is interested: http://www.mopedarmy.com/resources/articles/bingcarbs/

Re: honda express carb swap

Probably Fred /

Jet too small try a 66-68 and mess with all needle positions
