Look at the skirt of the cylinder notice how one side the transfer area of the skirt has a little notch in it. Ignore that, and take those transfer openings in the cylinder skirt down to the level of the base of the cylinder. While you are at it there is plenty of meat around the outside of the tranfers to open them up.
but the jug back on and look at the piston thru the intake port at BDC, trim that. maybe notch the piston crown for a little longer transfer duration
how much faster who knows, but it will breath better.
