I think there is some confusion in this thread. E50's are so simple why wouldnt you crack the case and just change the seals and bearings while you're at it, or even the crank to needle bearing. Now on vertically split motors, its not as simple as that. I got a newer tomos motor that I dont intend on cracking nor does it need new seals or bearings. I'm going to take the easy way out. On the on the older Minarelli and Morini motors I'm gonna have to take them apart cause a bearing is siezed or the seals are fucked.
