I just don't see how that can possible help the flow of gasses from the crank case into the cylinder. I mean tose are basically boost ports, right? the way they come stock would angle the flow down in front of the piston crown at BDC but with those removed it would just be ramming straight into a wall and then straight down. wouldn't it be like making the transfer ports into a 90 degree angle before the gasses come out into the cylinder? when those boost ports are being used, the reeds are closed so i don't understand how its beneficial. not saying you dudes aren't right, i just don't see it.
