i just repacked my baffle on my estoril with some household insulation cuz the stuff in there looked like charcoal. it ran good for low end and seemed quieter but now when i hit 35ish it bogs like a beast. i was able to hit 50 before so why is the boggage so dramatic? i dont really have anywhere to do plug chops but from normal riding my plug looks the right color(coffee brown). the bogging sounds like when you cut the engine while riding and then give it throttle ifyanadadamean. it jerks a lot when it bogs like it wants to go but cant. its an a35 w/airsol kit and hicomp head and 16/16sha w/k&n style airfilter 79 jet

yes way, i thought it was impossible too but idk maybe i got a magic estoril.. it wasnt gpsd tho it was on one of those street speed things and it was on flat!

I run estoril on 2 polini powered puchs I go 51-53mph on the flat no tuck in the wind. you probably over packed the silencer. on your tomos with 16mm carb and 70cc- 50-55mph with a estoril is no problem

Look man If you can't go 50+ with a estoril that is ok try another pipe. Back in the old days I got 50mph out of a modded magnum pipe. I get 50+ mph out of a techno circuit pipe also

oh ya and i cleaned out that thing with the holes in it cuz the holes were all clogged up

Take the new material out and run it to see if that makes a difference..

ok so i rode just now with it and without it..
with it i was able to hit high 40s again but the bog creeped up on me as the motor heated up, it wasnt as bad tho(bog every once in a while) but this is at night and its a hellovalot colder than it was when i was beastily boggin so is it possible that i need to downjet? but my plug is the correct color, wtf.
without the material i noticed waayyy better acceleration and minimal bogging, but again this is at night so i will test during the day and update.
does baffle packing make that much of a difference?

You say your plug is the right color ... you are using a new plug each time before you check it, right?
