Hey guys, sorry, school is kicking my ass again.
My friend has one of those Go-Pro mini HD super rad cameras that you can mount to a helmet, or mount to 'whatever you want' really. I think we're going to require a little video to show what this thing is capable of.
I will probably line up my derbi vs the gilarini vs an Alukitted / VM20'd intake de bridged A35 vs a 50cc A35 just for comparison and what not. The video thing is incredible, my friend made a ' ride to school' video and i was blown away at the quality.
As long as i'm not too busy this weekend I will try my best to make a quick video, but i have some massive exams next week so if my study steals me all weekend I won't be able to. But i'm pretty sure that this saturday will be good for setting it up.
I need to tear this thing down, and measure my stack heights, as well as re-locktite the clutch and see how the rest of it is wearing. I have a feeling i'm going to need 2nd gear clutches very soon. Arre thoe DMP ones you're getting in holland lasting longer than the regular cork tomos ones? Has anybody done bonded 2nd gear clutches yet? That might be where I go next with it, but it's still shearing the pins pretty bad. I might design a new center second gear hub assembly in solidworks and then have it machined. having a machine shop in the garage helps with that sort of stuff. I may not be the best machinist yet but i come from a family with that, so while i'm going to be the first with the engineering degree I can still have the family help out with the machining side, and it helps me learn how to design parts that can actually be made, rather than designing parts that are impossible to make (a very harsh reality of in-experienced engineers doing design work)
