Re: tune:newly somewhat rebuilt hobbit

check your variator and rear pulley.

Re: tune:newly somewhat rebuilt hobbit

I just got done a pa50II .. yesterday.. went throught the bike with a small fine comb. ....

Disassemble the rear .. clean clean clean .. the old oil out of the gear box and.. take the vario pulley apart.. clean clean clean the old grease out of there also..

Magic.. for real.

Re: tune:newly somewhat rebuilt hobbit

i def. didn't have the cylinder head bolts tight enough...

air was sucking in through the head gasket when i was letting off at higher rpms...

which i think would explain the phenomena??

i immediately tightened that down.

drained the gear box and filled with 80w-90 gear oil a few weeks ago.

vari is clean for sure, but should i lube plate&rollers with bearing grease?

rear pulley is sticking abit, will be disassembling that shortly.
