1977 bravo, ninja,13.13,malossi 64cc

what can i expect from this set up as far as top and low end and any suggestions to make it better. I chose not to drill out the intake. Thanks

drilling out the intake is a good thing to do you are n ot going to get the same results as someone who case matched cut the crank and drilled out the intake. those are all free mods for more power on vespas

Sean (Folsom) /

definitely match the case to the cylinder i didn't do this to my 64cc malossi kit and it was rather slow.

Re: 1977 bravo, ninja,13.13,malossi 64cc

i got a ninja and a 13. no kit.

low end sucks. but as soon as i hit 15ish BLAST OFF! Iprobably hit 40 WOT downhill.

Re: 1977 bravo, ninja,13.13,malossi 64cc

down hill means nothing i hit 45 down hill/mountain on a mostly stock fa 50.

Re: 1977 bravo, ninja,13.13,malossi 64cc

Will adjusting my variator change the top speed at all or will it just adjust acceleration? I feel like at a certain point going down hill i hit a point where the enigine is at basically its highest rpm and im not getting faster. Is this because the variator business is maxxed out?-rear variator spring is pushed all the way in? Im not quite sure what this means. thanks

Re: 1977 bravo, ninja,13.13,malossi 64cc

Adjusting the weights will only give you top speed if it isn't closing all the way now. take a peek when your maxed out, careful, can you see the little colored tabs? is the belt riding high on the variator and low in the back?
