So I'm thinking about upgrading my carb... I have a 14:12 Dellorto currently, on my Tomos A3 with Airsal 70cc kit, hi comp head, and biturbo. I'm thinking about getting the 16:16 Dellorto, however according to the moped spreadsheet, there doesn't seem to be any statistical gain in getting a larger carb. Basically, I'd like to know what gains, if any, to expect out of getting a larger carb - and if it's worth it.
You'd need a larger intake too -- no sense in putting a 16mm carb on a 12mm intake.
I'd definitely get the appropriate parts needed to set up the carb, I just would like to know the statistical benefit of getting a larger carb (if any benefit)

Although, if you're not seeing a difference between the smaller and larger carbs on the Tomos setups, it's probably because nobody makes A35 intakes for the 15 and 16mm SHAs. Thus, everyone on the spreadsheet is either running the stock intake with a larger carb, or they made their own.
