Puch Polini: 6p, n8p, or simonini

Ok....I know, I know..... I can check the wiki and/or do a search, but I was wondering from those who have actually ran two of the three: ( I don't just want #'s off of the wiki)

What did you like/not like out of the pipes on a stock polini cylinder. Or...if you have done some porting.... I have a cylinder with minor top transfer porting and boost port porting.....and a aggressively matched case?

Thinking simo. is where its at, would like some feedback from those who have ran the 6p on a polini specifically....vs the simo. and the 6p vs. the n8p. I think the n8p is a little overkill, but any feedback would be sweet. Mid and top is what I'm looking for. Let me know your experiences.

Thanks.

Re: Puch Polini: 6p, n8p, or simonini

6p = 8p, 8p has angled headed

N8p is a better made (USA!!!) 8p.

Look for threads titled simo vs 8p.

Homos are quieter, they both look rad. Simo has CARBON FIBER

Re: Puch Polini: 6p, n8p, or simonini

huh??? You are saying that the 8p/N8p has the same chamber?? T

Re: Puch Polini: 6p, n8p, or simonini

N8P improved header design for not giving up every last bit of low end.

Re: Puch Polini: 6p, n8p, or simonini

same basic design but with improvement such as low end consideration, and pedal clearence. Just get a motomatic and smile everytime you start up your bike. I'd put one on my car if they made one. Also see, polini cup winners,

Re: Puch Polini: 6p, n8p, or simonini

make it reaaal simple for yourself. buy a n8p and forget about everything else. these pipes are intensively designed for their exact purpose..to make mopeds rip. hard. and if you have issues they are a phone call/text message/email away.

Re: Puch Polini: 6p, n8p, or simonini

I don't know about those other pipes, but my n8p was awesome.. when it hits the power band at about 35mph, it feels like a gear shift.. It hits hard. I gained lowend + lifetime warranty.. well worth the extra 60 bucks if you ask me..
