shock tool?

I just purchased these shocks from treats

http://www.treatland.tv/moped-black-adjustable-shocks-280mm-p/shocks-280mm-black-tomos-sachs.htm

they went on fine and look great just one problem. According to a friend of mind they are supposed to come with a tool to help adjust with the stiffness of the shock. Well mine did not come with one and i need to adjust the setting on the shock but obviously cant. I am not sure what the tool looks like or where i could find something that could adjust them to the way i want them. If someone has one and could post a pic or would be willing to send it to me since its something you use one time that would be great. any suggestions on how to fix this problem would work too thanks!

Re: shock tool?

american strength dude. grab that shit with your hand and turn it.

Re: shock tool?

This is the only time I say use your retard strength on anything..you don't have a tool..your hands will do just fine..

Re: shock tool?

here is my story. I tell it to you.

I was prepared for a battle. 3 sets of vice grips, channel locks, and a few rags to rap my shocks, and or the handles of my tools. then with the channel locks I squeezed slightly, and turned and it went buttery smooth and easy to the next setting. It took me longer to put back my tools than to adjust them.

Re: shock tool?

Unless you have the strength of a grade schooler, you should be able to easily adjust these using your hands... You don't need a tool.

Re: shock tool?

If you can't do it by hand:

+

=

Shock adjuster tool

Or use an oil filter tool for a car.

Re: shock tool?

I have several. Most companies don't include them. Honestly, I just threw one away. If you really want one $5 shipping included.

Re: shock tool?

This is the tool you should be using

Re: shock tool?

Shock spanner. Sort of a half moon tool with a hook to catch the shock spring seat.

Re: shock tool?

no. hammer.

Re: shock tool?

See if you just simply use your hands you'll be fine, just don't forget to put your purse down.
