anyone have any tips or tricks on how to hop up a Honda gyro ?
You should check out scooterbbs or another scooter site.
I think any Honda PA50 kit should work. I sent a scan of the base and head gasket to Benji at Treats and he said he was 95% sure the kits would work.
golf cart wheels?
Is it really good at jumps? Or only a little bit good at jumps? In other words, do you jump over shit with it?
i've heard if you run one piston ring it makes those scream. till you blow something, but its supposed to be a fun ride till then...
The Gyros made in Japan now have a rear differential (US only had one-wheel drive) and Dio engines can hook right up. Sweetfast
any idea on what size rim or tires fit ? what brands maybe ?
wich dio engine ? i found like three of them but no info on them . were they ever in the U.S. ? also is there a cure for one wheel drive ? besides a straight bar . an chance for a diff ?
I have picked up several of these and I want to mobsterize at least one if them. The hobbit kit will bolt on, but the fins go the wrong way. Not sure if it matters much since the top end is shielded in duct work. There's an internal fan on the drive wheel side that does the cooling since the top end sticks straight out the back.
Lazer, you are very fortunate. I would love to try a Honda Gyro ~_~
I would make a little drift machine with a jdm differential! AWESOME :P
I know my response is way late but I just joined. Anyway, I live in Florida and work here and also live in Thailand part time. The question above was about the honda gyro and and kits available to boost power. Well, I was asking myself that same question 2 weeks ago and I did a search while in Thailand on Google and found WeBike Thailand. This website is available in English and you can search for Gyro parts and it shows a picture of the item and a brief description. The price listed is in Thai Baht so just use the google exchange converter to figure out what the price would be. Anyway, I hope this is helpful for those needing replacement or some OEM parts for all the Gyro models. (edited)
Arri racing in Japan makes some amazing stainless gyro exhausts. I got one and it’s super nice but hella $$$
I’m pretty sure treats has some cylinders depending on what gyro you have.
I wonder if urban express cvt parts work? Andre Eerdman from the Ghostriders made some scooter variator to urban conversions that he would sell you one!
This thread is making me hungry. Arbys has 2 for $6 Gyros.
