some non synthetic castrol. i generally don't buy into the synthetic hype, especially during break-in.
might start running it 60:1 or higher.
synthetic all the way!! you don't want anymore wear then you have to with these crappy moped parts!! my cheap ass friends always use castrol and burn there shit up all the time!!

That isn't Castrol's fault, something else is going on.
Usually if you are burning efficiently all the carbon builds on the piston because it is cool and the head being hot stays fairly clean. Why that is could be lots of things and multiple things
Looks like you're burning transmissionfluid or you're mixing some seriously crappy oil in a way too high ratio.
i really doubt it is my oil. my girl's bike is running a pretty similar set up and we share gas. i checked her head today and it looked fine. i think she's been running b6's mostly. i think it's a combination of the plugs and me riding mostly really short trips around the neighborhood and the engine just not getting hot enough for long enough. i'll check the tranny fluid tomorrow though
