NGK- Airsal 70cc

What kind of NGK and fuel muxture are you chaps running in your Airsal kits and at what fuel mixture?

heres the sit- I am still breaking in the kit and I am running B7's with a 32:1 mix.....its fouling but runs like a champ. No air leaks. Seesm that changing the jets are not having much of an influence.

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

I'm also using a 7, with a 40:1 mix, 88 jet/15mm bing. I still have one airleak between manifold and carb, mine doesn't foul but is probably close to it because the plug always looks very dark.. mine is behaving a lot differently after about 20 minutes of riding, it starts idling lower so i have to screw in the idle, and sometimes bogs. I'm thinking of leaning out my needle. first things first need to get an o ring for that air leak. so far i am loving the kit though.

yup. I'm running the same set-up. I am going to try a leaner mix and put in a fresh plug....again.

I love mine also.....its a ripper compared to what i was used to.

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

32:1 is overkill. Could be the cause of your plug issues. B7 is the one you want. I've been running 50:1 on my Airsal for going on 4 years...

got it. I'll lean it out and get it in order I hope.

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

I would run no more than 40:1 ever... Specially with Synthetic. Too much oil makes for grossness. But yeah. Over 3 years on one Airsal kit. Always used B7's and ran a 50:1.

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

32:1, b8hs, 19mm del, 103 jet

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

Gross.

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

You got air leaks dude.

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

I don't even know what to make of that set up. you must have a hole the size of a dime on your intake.

"oil it up"

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

Gunther McGillicutty /

ok...so switched to 40:1. now its still fouling and running a 70 jet. stalling at stop signs...wet foul

70CC airsol

high flow filter

boss pipe (profile)

b7

fuck

timing?

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

i dont know enough yet to theorize why that would be happening ,but i'll bump this thread for you by responding!

maybe cause I have a cdi my spark is hotter ?

what notch is your bing's needle at?

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

Gunther McGillicutty /

needle is all the way down town.

Re: NGK- Airsal 70cc

What Idle jet are you running? 70 should be too small. I would say it should be in the mid to high 80's...

You've got the clip on the lowest or at the highest on the needle? Is it a W7 needle?

You could just have a huge idle jet in there causing you to run super rich at idle...
