Hi, I have a 50cc tccd kit. Piston has a boost port window in it. I broke the piston ring the other night on a ride, and I had a stock piston with a dykes ring. No boost port window though. I put it in, and went from 55mph with my current setup down to 41gps'd. I cant believe what a difference it made, I am wondering if anyone has ever cut a boost port window in a stock cylinder. Should I match the measurements of the boost port on the other piston, or can I widen it and raise/lower it just like with cylinder porting? Should I be able to see the boost window at BDC through the intake port, or should it be competely hidden? It wont rev out like it used to. Cylinder walls are perfect too, so its gotta be the piston. Here's my full setup if it helps...
50cc tccd ported and matched w/modified piston
16mm phbg
bullet pipe
tuned clutch
18x45 gears
Thanks for the help
