Hey I've searched high and low, but I can't find instructions on how to change the main jet on my dellorto sha 14/12 carburetor. If anyone could give me step by step directions that'd be awesome!
Explain it as if I am a total idiot please... haha

take the bottom off. then you will see a brass screw, that is your Jet.
Oh, well that was stupidly easy... thank man!
Hey thanks for those vids. I think that first one might've helped me solve something going on with my other moped as well!
jesus christ. THIS IS A REPAIR ISSUE NOT PERFORMANCE.
Actually, Lurkin, I am up-jetting to increase the performance of my bike. I apologize if my placement of this question offends you in any way. There is nothing wrong with my jetting now. I am simply replacing it with a larger one while making other modifications to increase moped performance... Seemed like a performance question to me. I'm no expert forum surfer though...
By the way, my name is Greg... Not sure why you called me Jesus Christ?
you got it right? if your up jetting you should be doing something else too, like a pipe or air filter, just upjetting will just rich up your fuel air mixture.
Do a head stand and fart!
:-)
Yeah thanks man. I plan to put a couple small holes in the airbox as well as a small hole in the exhaust... someone with the same engine/exhaust as me told me just how to do it without screwing it up. should get me some more MPHs I hope!
i dont think the exhaust holes will help as much as you think. a better tuned exhaust like a biturbo made me go from stock 53 to a 58-60 depending. if you look at the tube coming out of the airbox, theres a little half moon blocking piece, cut that out. thatll help a bit (come to think of it, i need to do that...).
you point at the jet and scream "UP!!!"
