My first attempt at case matching E50 for Polini..

This is my first ever attempt at case matching.. I used a dremel and a couple small hand files for the job.. I hope the case seals to the head alright i came pretty close and made where the gasket seals pretty thin.. woah!. What do you think? Im oped to the shit talk.. lol :) oh yeah forgive the lack of macro for the photo, my camera has seen better days..

What about the top of the case? Look at your Polini base gasket again.. if you don't match it up there, you run the risk of burning a hot spot on your piston

Yeah i noticed those spots on the top of the gasket on two spots.. So how far should i take it into the case up there, Just notch it out?

you need to cut those top transfers in. it provides essential lubrication.

here's a pic of the top transfers on my cases.

you want to be sure to take them alllll they way back to the crankcase like in this pic.

besides missing the top transfers it looks good.
