I have an E50 and everything is stock.
Cleaned the carb, exhaust, etc. No air leaks anywhere.
When I fire it up on the stand it revs super high. It accelerates on it's own and when I give it gas it wants to die??
Could this be a worn clutch?
Can anyone help me out?

ok, air leak, too lean, etc... I checked and don't feel any air leaks.
It still revs high and does no go when I give it gas... at all!!!

You cant "feel" air leaks.
How long have you had the moped?
Has it ever run correctly?
Did this happen overnight or has it been that way?
Have you ever had the top end off of the motor for any reason?
Have you ever rebuilt the carb?
my first solution would be to go into the moped repair forum and not in the performance section.
second, those dudes saying airleak and lean, are moped junkies that are probably right.
Your throttle slide could be stuck up. Take your carb off and see where the slide is at zero throttle, also make sure your idle screw is screwed all the way out. Your slide should be all the way, or very close to being completely closed when your idle screw is all the way out.
If your slide is all in order and youre still revving high then you probably just have a very hard to find airleak.
I have had the moped for 3 months.
Not 100% sure that it ran right before, but you can tell the previous owner just blasted the thing for fun and then got rid of it.
So, it's been that way ever since I picked it up from him.
I have never taken the top end off and have never rebuilt the carb, just cleaned it and all the jets.
If it's getting too much air and I can't feel any leaks... how would I know where the air leak is?

Start the moped up on its stand. Grab a can of Carb cleaner and put the straw in the tip. Now spray it around where the intake bolts to the top of the cylinder, where the exhaust bolts to the bottom of the cylinder, where the cylinder meets the case, and where the head meets the cylinder.
If at any time it revs up even higher than it already is, or dies out than that is where the air is leaking through and where your problem would be.
Also a good idea to check out that carburetor as mentioned before.

^ yup, that's the way to check for air leaks.
if you don't find a leak, then I would check for a stuck throttle slide too, and if it's still happening, you should prolly look at your throttle control and see if it's stuck...maybe the cable came out of the slide on the handle?
propane is better for checking air leaks for a couple of reasons.
its a heavy gas, and you just have to put it ontop of the motor to know if theres a leak, and it does not rapidly cool down the metal of the engine, witch in itself will cause a airleak becaue it contracts.

Spraying the carb cleaner sounds like a good trick. Would like to be experimental and try the propane... but don't have any.
now ! if the idle screw is all the way out and it still revs. ,see that curved tube on the top of your carb? see that thing with tiny bumps all over it where the throttle cable goes in? turn it clockwise that will lengthen your cable and lower your rpm by lowering the throttle slide in the carb , also make sure your choke door is hooked to the rod and hasnt fallen off and closed off the air going into the carb
