Garelli Tuning

Hey mates, I'm beginning to customize my Garelli supersport xl ltd and am trying to decide which carb to get, any feedback?

for a bit more info, the ssxl is stock at the moment, runs super duper rich, the current carb floods badly (won't start unless I keep the petcock off when not running), top speed maybe 33 with a really horrible low end experiencing lots of hill kill (this is my main frustration atm).

16/16 dellorto with 16mm intake.

definitely the above mentioned... if you kit it, thats a great size for more low end.

go with the phbg, little more tuning work but much more control

Just to clear up, will a 16/16 work well with the rest of my bike being stock? Will it work better/worse after I eventually add exhaust and kit? Thanks for the tips.

also will I need a larger intake?

larger intake, carb, and pipe is a good way to start.

with a 16/16, matching intake, port matches cylinder and good pipe.. you could gear it out to be pretty snappy

deep blue already has 11/30 gearing, I believe I also have a 50 that came with it. Should I swap in the 50 until I up the ante with some of these performance mods? Hill in the nati are awful.
