so clean my main jet this morning and put it back together, then attached my air box back on, and turned on my gas and waited 10 mins and went for a ride. by the end of the ride i noticed gas driping from the bottom of the carb maybe i didnt tighten the clams enought or what, any1 got any imput????
take it off and make sure everything is tight?
there is a good chance the little metal bits that support the float are bent or something. when the bowl is full of gas the float moves up and closes off the valve that allows more gas to enter. if it is bent or something gas will flow into the bowl even when it doesn't need any and will leak out
What kind of carburetor do you have? A bing or dellorto or what ever. Maybe its your gasket because thats what most times happens on bing carbs. A new gasket is $2.90.
If its a del the float bowl gasket is always tricky, replace it, thats what i did and it was leaking hella bad from the bowl.
it was the gasket!! that little rubber ring right?
