i know that morinis and Rellis have a lot in common, and a lot of differences but are the mounting spots similar on both engines?

hmm the morinis are fast bikes to..plus motobecane sebring came with m1=reedvalve.. and motomarina sebring came with the v1.

Ok, so theres an M1 on your Seabring...first time I have have seen anything other than the M02 or V1...is that possibly a M1V ( variated ?) super rare if so...only seen pictures, but your side cover kinda looks like M1V...
Oh and Yes! You can mount any engine to any farme, with a welder and cutting wheel....just make sure th edrivetrain lines up...at WB2 they had a puch e50 on a hobbit, so anything is possible...

nope sadly its a m1 haha. i have actually heard of maybe 3 other ppl that have m1's on there sebrings...i dont remember who they are but i know there are a good deal more out there

I just got done putting a V1 to replace the M02 that was on my baretta sport, pretty simple used 1/8 in angle iron as motor mounts and simply cut off the old engine mounting holes off, as the v1 is very narrow compared to franco morini motor. drilled some holes thru the angle iron lined up the front sprocket with the rear with a piece of iron and tacked her into place. Needed to replace the smaller rear sprocket with the larger 7in 42 tooth V1 sprocket to clear the swing arm mount, while I was there got a new gold racing chain (shiny). The V1 needed to be mounted about a inch left of the old mounts.
After all that work and putting a 75cc polini, 19dell, and some old bi-turbo froma sachs. i found a place with morini kits in stock. FML.

the sebring came with the minarelli v1 and morini m1 and m02 motors just cause you have not seen them does not mean they don't exist. also the motobacane and motomorina have nothing to do with which engine they had in other words "CHECK YO SELF BEFORE YOU RECK YO SELF"
justice PLEASE ask the people around you stop asking dumb questions on this forum. you know we have a sebring with the m1 engine in my garage and you also know we have a ton of v1's including yours. its not that hard for you to get off your ass and look at the motor mounts. we live 10 blocks from you.
now for your answer not they do not bolt up however the v2 has vary similer mounts it will not bolt up either without some drilling. Buti can help you weld new mounts if the frame is here in denver as i am doing this to rachels bike now

sorry ed i dont have the pics on this computer maybe rachelle will chime in with the photos. but it was a disaster. to much power for that engine sheers woodruff keys like every mile or so and when it does not sheer a key it kills a clutch. so were at 5 keys, 2 clutches + the large gear in the tranny comes off at high rpm (4 times) so we are getting a new engine for it

nope just a good old m1 you also have to stack some gaskets the piston slaps the head other wise
I plan on .. welding on the top to raise the deck.. them mill it down to the correct height.:)
