Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

Re: Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

Hmm, I'm matching my intake now... lots of material to take off to get it right. And is the intake sitting flat... ? Hmm, some work to be done here.

I took a lot of material off the top of my intake to get it to fit right. You shouldn't have to do much matching though, as that intake is designed for this kit Mick.

This pictures shows specifically that I knocked down the transfer shoulders considerably and sharpened them, also cleaned up the inside of the transfers a lot, there was all kinds of casting flaws in there. In addition I chopped the piston skirt to it lines up with the transfers. CLEAN UP TIME

SO excited to get this on and running! Here is a pic from before for comparison.

Re: Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

Yeah - I'm going to clean up the transfers on the kit too since you mentioned it. tks.

Re: Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

Parma must not have worked hard on casting that kit, those transfers were filled with junk metal!

But shit that is a great case match job there Julian! I'd almost be tempted to weld on extra metal to the crank case and make the transfers on that kit even wider!

Re: Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

Hmm .. so tell us all .. when is the last time.. parmakit made these.. hmm a loooong time ago.. and 50cc.nl only people that sold this shit.. wow.

Re: Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

Still avail as of today... although I have not seen one running anywhere yet me included lol.

Re: Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

sslepping.

Re: Clean up time! Parma 70cc AV77777

Quarter Kick convinced Parma to make a batch of the kits only to have treats buy every single one out from under them; or so my mythos understanding goes.
