has anyone ever modded a homoet 6p pipe to work on an A55 tomos???? im curious bout the performance i should expect..... i will have more details once it comes in and gets installed......

im getting the puch homoet 6p....i hear it should do well on the two speed tranny...... should be well on the pipe through first gear ........ i cant wait, it comes this friday .......along with some sprockets to make me a 17t rear for my arrow.....

so the homoet was waiting for me when i got home today (on an awesome ride from corona to temecula, club55 and brew hoppers) just got it mounted tonight and took it for a spin......i may have to tune the carb better but as a first impression, the pipe not only looks good on the bike but works pretty well too....i got out to 51 on the flats .....airsal 70cc kit, 14mm phva stockmanifold and stock ignition..... will be posting pics soon ....

It seems like this thing from treats work work perfectly with a homoet two part.

im of the opinion that the tomos homoet 4.5p is a 50cc screamer.... the puch homeot 6p (which is a one piece but due to having to mount it on the right side of the bike i had to cut the header off and weld it almost 180 degrees from its original position) , the 6p is for kits in the 64cc to 70cc range and the homoet 8p is for big boy kits such as the 80cc metra kit and glia kits.......

I built a homoet 6p copy from the dimensions in the wiki. Works well on my a55 with Alukit and 4 petal reed. The pipe does kick in pretty high. I don't really launch into the powerband till about 25-30, but it does scream at the high rpm. I've got a 19 mm delorto on it, which is a bit overkill I think.

the pipe being a top end pipe is great for this application ...... going through 1st gear you can really get on the power band and get you up to speed in second gear...... second gear the powerband is late and beefy ......i got it out to 51 on the flats in LA on sunday ,.......
@mopedskill, i am using the stock carb which is a 14mm PHVA ... also stock manifold...... the gearing however is a 26t in the front and 18t in the rear...... i know that ill lose more of my low end in doing this but i have a 17t on the way ........ shold be able to hit 55-58 on the long stretches
