Zach's right about flattening the intake looking right and still not being perfect. I used glass and sand paper to flatten mine primo perfecto, used grey motoseal, and still an intake leak. Use at least ultra red. copper sealed up my intake.
Charles, use that piston, you can finger file that up to get it kosher. The port on the piston should be opened up to match the cylinder port anyways. I just resurrected a piston that was way worse and I'm cruisin fine now. Use needle files at a 45* angle across the skirt.
All my soft seized polinis were junked on the intake just like that. It sands off with with several goes of 800. then polish it up to at least 1200 or 1500, depending how anal you wanna get.
