is there such a thing? particularly on a kitted bike?
ive got some right around the ring gap on my malossi 62cc. compression still runs at about 180psi with sweet low end torque. i just done want to seize this thing when i got up to a 19 phbg.

With 180psi cylinder pressure, blow-by is not an issue at 10,000 rpm.
Every 2-stroke has blow-by. It's no big deal, as long as you have enough compression and your piston isn't all burned along the sides.
the is some light carbon buildup below the ring gap. piston doesnt seem scored or deformed, but i fear that might be on its way.
i should have waited until i had the photos ready to post.
