So I after having these things sitting around for a while, I decided to paint them. I began prepping them, and much to my dismay, I discovered that the lever for the brake on the front hub is unlike one I've ever see before. (see attachment). The back one is normal but the front one, as you can see, is just a circular hole. Should I use a normal front brake cable and just run it through the hole, letting the big end catch/pull when I need to brake and hang/dangle the rest of the time? Is there another cable I should be using?
Help? I know this should probably be in repair... sorry.
