e50 3 shoe newbie tuning tips

1. You can avoid having to drain your fluid every time if you lean your bike over. Any less that a 45 degree angle and fuild comes out the clutch bell area. Lean it really far over and your drain the it from the hole on the top of the case. 45 degrees is just right.

2. Always make sure you have full tranny fluid. Any less and you'll slip less.

On a cheapo 3 shoe with blue springs:

I also have the set screws flush with the shoe and this thing still revs out like crazy.

Re: e50 3 shoe newbie tuning tips

I never thought of putting the bike at a 45 degree angle. Thanks!

Re: e50 3 shoe newbie tuning tips

i just had blue springs but i think the stock ones in 3 shoe are better. still slips alot but not as bad and ive got screws flush, now im gunna experament with different trans fluid right now im using a 6.99 a qt. bottle of "pour in the performance" stuff.

Re: e50 3 shoe newbie tuning tips
